The Earvana Gibson style OEM nut must be set in 3/32" (.093") closer to the first fret. After the nut is installed and the guitar is strung, set the intonation at the bridge as normal over the 12th fret. Note that the configuration of the saddles will change from that of the stock straight nut. Note: the Shelf Nut Styles will fit the normal nut slot though they may need to be filed down on the bottom so the shelf rests flush on the fret board. Do not modify the fret board for those model nuts.
