Simple Installation. Earvana Gibson and ESP Shelf Nut Drop-In Styles will fit in a normal nut slot with no modifications to your neck. You may have to file down the bottom of the nut to match your necks radius. Do not modify the fret board.

After the nut is installed and strung, set the intonation at the bridge as normal over the 12th fret. Note that the configuration of the saddles will change from that of the stock straight nut.
